From Greensboro, NC Gehling performed in several shows with the Greensboro Children’s Theatre and Livestock Players Youth Theatre, before later attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  Currently starring as William Shakespeare in the Broadway production of & Juliet, Drew Gehling originated the role of Dr. Pomatter on Broadway in Waitress after helping develop the piece at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA during the summer of 2015.
